At the start of every shift, you should open all of the following webpages:

 

  • Company email
  • Shopify
  • FreshDesk
  • pendleton.ca

 

After you have those four tabs open you are set to begin your shift. You will use these websites very frequently throughout your shift, especially FreshDesk and Shopify. Eventually you will be set up with a company number and login to use in the RingCentral add-on that was recently integrated into the Freshdesk website. Please see Navigating Ring Central for more information on this subject.

 

The company email is to email back and forth with the shipping department, updates for Freshdesk, as well as for company-wide emails and updates that are sent out. Discord is another platform we use to communicate amongst agents- opening Discord at the start of your shift is not a bad idea either, though not required.

 

Shopify is our platform for managing orders, inventory and checking statuses. Please see Navigating Shopify for more information on this subject.

 

FreshDesk is the hub for tickets, which are raised by customers with questions or concerns. You will also find the RingCentral widget in the bottom left corner. Please see Navigating FreshDesk and Navigating RingCentral for more information on these subjects.

 

Lastly, pendleton.ca is our main website. Keep this tab open to quickly access information on products, check item availability at a glance, and copy links to direct customers to signing up for email notifications for item restock and e-newsletters.
